I want to make sure I have a menu plan before I start so I am not tempted to slip. I see a lot of people are losing around 20-25 lbs in total. I need to lose about 40lbs. Are there any suggestions on what to do when you are stuck in the 20-25lb range? Maintenance is the hardest part. I tried South Beach several years ago and lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks. I didn't have a maintenance plan that I was going to stick to and so I gained weight back. I completely gave up everything but small portions of sweets each day (1 or 2 cookies usually) during the induction phase and still lost 9 lbs. I plan to fully get rid of the sweets but figured this was a great way to start. I recommend the South Beach Diet knowing that some of my favs will be able to be added back in soon.
