Many readers complain that Jenny Craig is overly expensive. Save your money and stick with better choices like Nutrisystem or South Beach Diet.

I went to my JC center in rural Massachusetts with the intention of joining, I had my hopes up, very optimistic and positive, they put me with one person to explain the whole procedure who was very nice and informative so I decided to join. After signing the papers, they scheduled me to meet with a skinny 18 year old girl every week who was going to coach me on the diet, what experience do you have to help me I asked politely, ( isin't it my right to know?) she was very offended and put out that I could ask such a question, and got the manager from the back who came over and tried to strong arm me into shutting up and just buying the products I'd been told I need) good thing I still had my credit card in my hand which by the way she thought I was putting back in my bag, not getting out before she gave me the major attitude. I was very sad, my balloon was deflated. I thought I was going to be another Kirstie Alley story, I guess I'm lucky I saw their true colors. They didn't care about helping me achieve my goals at all, it was very apparent they cared only about my credit card.

No way was that woman 220 pounds. I would be surprised if she wasn't in the 280 range. She is a big-boned, tall woman and she was very, very heavy. Too bad they don't have a diet to lose irritating obnoxious personalities. Listening to her shriek from the TV was more than a turnoff. Wonder how many customers Jenny Craig lost because of her.
